I sometimes think, I am too cynical for this life ! Would the prolification be due to the fact the council only pays for half the cost and the govt pays the balance. add to that Cyclists, Pedestrians and anyone who doesn't drive ;-) Isn't it worrying that everyone thinks they're a road safety expert? That's a big part of our problem, folks. If we could crack that, everything else would follow very easily. Understanding it is a good first step, hence this thread...
