I get the opposite. I slow down to let someone out of a side road, leaving a big gap, but nothing. So I flash my lights, still nothing. Slow down as much as I can without inconvenienceing anyone behind me and flash again... STILL nothing. Then just as I give up and start speeding up again they begin...

I doubt these 'gagging clauses' are enforcable, as I'm sure there is a piece of legislation called the 'protected disclosures act' or something to protect people who expose corruption and incompetence. The jist is accident rates have stayed the same at most sites and even risen at a few. The pratnerships defense? People keep buring their cameras and they can't park their vans where they want to!

I was just about to post that link If speed really does kill surely driving at 56mph is super-safe? According to Inspector Smith it's not. Over 70 is dangerous and so is 56? So logically, by extrapolating that, there must be some magical speed where its impossible to have an accident. :roll: Simon
