One thing I realised recently is that I set up my BT phone line over the phone, and I have bills for water, electricity and gas, yet I have never signed a contract with any of these companies. I didn't even agree to one on the phone with BT.

Don't forget that this would be an extra road tax, and a spying network to log everywhere you go. If poole council really wanted to cause less congestion then why are they building skanky flats (without enough parking places, but that is 'ok') absolutely everywhere they possibly can? And why are the...

I noticed this stupid restriction a little while ago. It is complete nonsense, get rid of the speed restrictions on that road, they aren't needed. The roundabouts have had foliage and the such plonked on them to make it more difficult to see and anticipate what is happening. But those slip roads, es...

...a speed measuring device so accurate it is used by Nasa... That's quite funny if you've seen any of the other equipment they have to work with in space. I do believe I have seen a video of space shuttle docking where one of the astronaut guys way pointing a LIDAR device out the window at the ISS...

Of course the police don't care. They only care about money. I once reported the dorset speed camera mob for driving over a footpath and failure to stop after a road traffic accident. To this day the police haven't replied to me, they simply forwarded my complaint on to the civilian run camera mob w...

Oh speed limits, speed cameras, surveillance devices. They're all still here, they are all still growing and I see very little evidence that anyone is pulling them down or burning them or doing anything to fight for their freedom. It is like no-one cares.

The gatso manual says that the control unit has a temperature range of -20° to +60°. It doesn't mention temperature ranges for any other modules, nor does it suggest that it monitors the temperature or shuts down if it falls outside this range. (RedSpeed equipment apparently does this.)

Sounds like a really bad idea. You'll get people wearing their governmentally assigned clothing and thinking they are safe because they are told they are, then walking into the road without looking... You might want to ask...
How much will it cost to create the restriction documentation?
How much will it cost to create the restriction signs and poles?
How much will it cost to install these signs?
How much will it cost to maintain?
Who will pay?

As far as recording your conversion with the plod I think that openly writing it down in a notebook and asking the PC to sign it as a true and accurate representation might be fun.

Unfortunately the chances are they would consider beating you up to be quite fun too.

It doesn't really matter what the weather is, driving so slowly that you are causing a queue is wrong and inconsiderate. Pull over and let people past. Pissing people off is never going to make them drive safer.

If you're not sure if you're driving on ice, surely the best thing to do is to try braking at a low speed and see what happens? That's what I've been doing. Obviously not with anyone else around though.

Not so. There is one only set in our village/town and they are three-way. When traffic is light, they'll all be on red and change as a car approaches. I've even approached them as they've turned to red then turned back to green so that I didn't have to stop. Just shows that it can be done. Oh yes, ...

So the council want to restrict our freedom, but fix faulty sensors on traffic lights? :? Because I pointed it out. It had been faulty for at least a few weeks. I don't know which traffic light controller was in use but I believe it is fairly common for them to log detected faults, and if they have...
