Even more rain to come we hear, Am listening to radio 5 live at the moment, the only sort of light relief from the bad news is the attempts by southern BB... |

I agree!......A war on the motorist! it's become nothing more than a "tax collecting"......"oil importing protectionist scheme" to stop you buying the stuff! :x (balance of payments...that's what it's all about) From now on only the mega-rich will be able to afford fuel. They are... |

'You know something? I'm getting quite fed up of these "mind the Kiddywinkles" types who run their kids to school in their 4x4, people carriers, park on private land, pavements, bends, within 15mtrs of road junctions forcing us ordinary motorists to tiptoe carefully around right hand bends... |

Ernest, I see that this post is a little old now, but I seem to remember that I once had a 2.0L Ford Cortina (the very last model + with Gas struts). I'd fitted it with Hankooks and found that it tended to understeer in corners...unless.....you were brave enough to push the throttle a little more wh... |

Gentlemen, You all need to factor into the equation the fact that the GBP has lost 25% of it's real value since 2008. The more they print, the less it's worth and we're all going to find that out next year. They have of course announced that they're going to print more. Time to start hoarding the ti... |

I don't know when most of these accidents occurred, day? night? Summer? Winter etc. All I know is that the last time that I drove it at night....the white lining, road surface and reflective aids were very poor in parts. |

There is one not too far from me near but not in front of a school. The signs are totally illegal.....i.e. not of the prescribed size etc. This tells me that the council have not applied the correct procedure when changing it from the standard 30mph. Just let them try it on with me and I'll have the... |

Either way Gents you're on a looser. THE arabs will in future charge you more for your fuel or your government will increase the tax on it. I'm not A FAN of the new thinking you understand, I'm no greeny, just a realist. You can either ignore it and pay the price or pay £25,000 this year for a biscu... |

Many good replies there and thanks to everyone. Another incident came to mind of one day in my local town at a 5 way roundabout. IMO it should have been a 4 way (it's quite new) but they missed the opportunity. Any way it's a 5 way, and it's the main way into and out of the town, and across as well,... |
