It seems daft to me as well that no positive action is being taken against the stupid morons who put them selves and others in danger by using the Network to get from A to B. We have a policy that all pedestrians get fined this way it stops the regular ones who know that they will get a free lift to...

Based on the Defence's evidence ie the photograph showing that the specs camera's were not in use then it was the right decision to acquit,as the crown couldn't prove it's case beyond all reasonable doubt.

I dont think for one minute that we have heard the full story, only the sympathy for the driver side of the story, what I would ask is the following questions. 1.What blue light training has the driver done. 2.What exemptions was he using 3.Who gave him the Authority to drive under B+Ts (is the surgeo...

I welcome the change in the new proposals, for years there has been a big gap in trying to get justice for families whos'e lives have been changed for life the example of little Cery's is only one of many. The court's will be able to make it easier when deciding as it is at the moment we work on the ...

It was a figure of speech, but if you know any better then please let us know,I used to bother about what the public used to think of me when I sat at the mouth of the junction monitoring traffic, and being accused of hiding, but now I couldn't care less as it's the ones who break the law that take exc...

Yes perfectly legal and acceptable,I suppose the answer is don't do anything wrong and you will not have anything to fear, like 99% of drivers out there. The camera van's have rules to follow in relation to signs and flashing orange beacons on top.

What were you expecting to here from people. What did you mean when you say " Do I take the punishment or try to fight it." Why, was my reply unhelpful . You asked for an opinion and you got it,unfortuneately sometimes you don't always like what you here especially if it does not fall into...

Hello and welcome, You admit to speeding then take your punishment like the ones before you,and hopefully you might learn something from it. If you fight it and loose,as you are a new driver, you could end up getting hammered at court,ie bigger fine and about 4 to 5 points or you could be lucky if th...

There is no use in crying over spilt milk, but i suppose the lesson hopefully you will have learnt to date is the fact that when you rack up so many points for whatever reason, you have to take stock of what is happening as now you are having to work and sweat a bit harder than if you would have been...

This argument has been challenged many times in this country and lost, the reasons why is that the Americans machines have a different software also they dont have to calibrate or certificate their accuracy like we do in this country. That Dr King or whatever he is called tried that trick a number of...

Once again a technicallity which rightly or wrongly he got away with, but that doesnt mean he was not guilty, which he obviously was as he never once denied it was him just that the quality of the evidence was poor, which is a poor show on behalf of the people who run the camera.

I also believe that it is a good thing but we also have to try and educate them more about the dangers that lie out there,I still see the young drivers men and woman not being responsible and living up to the statistics that everyone reads and talks about. Over the weekend had two young men one with...

I remember years ago when I was a boy back in Glasgow we used to have a copper cross us over the busy road and from memory it was part of there duties, then. Then when I joined the cops back in 1990,I remember some of the 25 yr bobbies say that if there was a shortage of school crossing patrols or of...

Might as well not waste our time getting the details just let them get away with it as if you dont make an attempt to detain them then the result will be just the same if you take there details and try and follow it up at a later stage.they purely and simply will get off with it,as there will be no ...

I couldnt agree more with you on the subject of getting the police involved, but my force in the 20+yrs that I have been in has never as long as i can remember got involved directly with young drivers/riders on road safety issues unless they had to. Now with all these cuts coming into place I think t...

I remember doing the same person on the same day three seperate times, that was deemed to be one single ongoing offence as for different days and times they are most definetly seperate.
