I dont think I would increase my speed that much. I use a lot less juice going at 80-85 as normal. Above this and my car drinks it. An increase wouldbe a good thing though, could releave some conjestion.

Thats a great help. Anton please can you clarify then does the 6 months go from the date of the offence, or the date I was notified by means of an NIP or by the letter I got from Devon and Cornwall Constabulary back in Sept that stated that the courts would have to deal with it. It wasnt a court sum...

Hi, been a while since I last posted. Anyway I got caught on a speed camera back in August last year whilst in Cornwall on holiday. Due to the severity of the offence I recieved a letter saying that the matter would have to go before the magistrates court in Plymouth (or thereabouts). This letter ar...

Hey guys thanks for all the replys! Keeping my fingers crossed that I will be accepted on the advanced course. Hopefully if I can tell the judge that I am actively trying to improve my driving skills then he/she may be a little more forgiving. Should get the NIP in the next few days and hopefully th...

I have done a quick search on this forum but cant find much. Just need info on prices and l...

Im back and I also have had time to think. My driving at times has been wreckless and occasionaly dangerous, I have been kidding myself that it hasnt. So the only constructive thing to do is to slow it down and generally improve the standard of my driving, either this or I cant see how Im going to g...

Would people please read my post before commenting. For the final time Sixty the Red:- THERE ARE NO CAMERA WARNING SIGNS ON THE A30, THERE ARE NO SPEED LIMIT REPEATERS, IT IS A NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT ROAD. The advice for the most part has been very useful, however there are some on here who sound to b...

Stephen, I am not winging and whining. I fully accept that I have been a class A idiot, to the extreme! The first incident I spoke of happened on a road with a 30mph limit. The only reason (and I know for a fact) that this road has a 30 limit is that there used to be a school located on it. It has s...

On the basis that I drive safely at all times, im not a wreckless or dangerous driver. Even though I have been caught speeding twice, no-one can say I was driving dangerously/wrecklessly, it depends on your definition of dangerous and/or wreckless. Very light traffic, 2 lanes, dry roads, downhill, c...

Thanks for the replys everyone, some useful advice there! a great forum too by the way! Just a couple of things I left out or things I should have made clearer. Firstly Ian H stated that the road could be classed as a single lane carrigway. Indeed it was, this got me confused as I thought that 2 lan...

Hi everyone! :) Glad I found this forum as it looks great. Anyway this post is regarding 2 unfortunate experiences I have had in the past month. The first one occured 4 weeks ago on a 30mph limit road, this limit is ridiculous as police reguarly speed down there in excess of 50mph and so do a lot of...
