A31 is great for this when you have cc on as other drivers speed up and slow down a fair bit on the hilly bits. |

You've realised this website is trying to sell a speed camera alert smartphone app? The blog is just a collation of related news stories. I imagine they have a google alert set up then just chuck links to anything relevent on their blog to generate traffic. (let's see if third attempt to post works) |

Couldn't agree more.
Being in the right isn't much use if you're dead. |

I have modified my original statement in the light of Bo's comments. “MAYBE IT'S A BIT MORE TOLERANCE BETWEEN ALL ROAD USERS .SIMPLE - but not something that any civil servant can comprehend . Nor is it within the comprehension of a substantial proportion of all road users :( Good thing too - maybe... |

The original Brake links do not work - I wonder why? Does anyone have a list of their corporate sponsors? Think Johnnytheboy had a good idea with his letter. I would be horrified if companies I use supported Brake and would look for alternatives. http://www.brake.org.uk/about-us/corporate-support-w... |

That photo looks like they've all been photoshopped in from separate pics to me.
Maybe the first time they tried it there was a punch up, and that's how the policewoman got a black eye.
Then Nicholas Parsons had to rush off to record Just a Minute so they had to PS it. |

Can't remember the last time they said anything pro-motorist.
And all road safety campaigners are anti this? Claire? |

Don't think people realise how much more pollution there will be if everyone crawls through at 20mph instead of 30mph either... Less pollution? When I was doing traffic engineering at uni I recall a graph of four different pollutants against speed. A couple increased roughly proportionally to vehic... |
