Am a total athiest, as I believe was Paul, but total respect and bless him. without invoking any sky fairies. A total LEGEND in road safety research. I am totally stunned a truly great man has died so young - I hope someone or a decent group nearly as dedicated can take up the mantle? Condolences to...

Refusing to wear a seatbelt is the ultimate in total wankerism. It really doesn't bother anybody whatsoever, unless they are so fat as to have a medical condition - in which case your doctor will prescribe a note to absolve you of such a terrible safety measure. Personally, I have very rarely found ...

We (as part of 'society') only need to decide if that is acceptable. Hey, I am more than happy that its the peds that die rather than moi? What would you say? Would you rather die in a squashed concertina cabin squeezing your skull to implode through your eyeballs, just to let some random ped suffe...

I totally agree with this. I nearly died on the M62 last week, slowing down to 50mph and every other fuxxor ignoring me, and if I had a seatbelt on I would have died (not that any accident manifested, cos of my COAST skills). But 'cos I didn't have a seatbelt on, I didn't die, 'cos GOD decided that ...

I must say Sputnik, if you never break the law, you shouldn't be doing more than 70 when you see the 50 sign and if you can't slow down from 70 to 50 in the distance you can see the sign, I think an eye test might be in order! I had no problem braking from 70 to 50 in the short distance of seeing a...

What is an NSP? (NSL?) M62 is 70mph but on the end bit, coming into Liverpool (Rocket) drops to 50mph and has a Gatso that seems to be popular at the moment. The "Queens Rd" (Queens Drive) is 40mph and merges with Edge Lane 30mph at the Rocket. Once you see the motorway signs, its 70mph. W...
