American companies at the moment are getting away with patenting things that have been in general use for years and getting away with it. It seems that you do not have to have invented anything to get a patent granted yo just need to be the first to apply! look at this one... http://appft1.uspto.gov...

I actually believe in intelligent design, but do not think it is the same as creation. I do not believe in god and Adam 'n' Eve etc.. but do think that somehow our DNA is pre-programmed rather then darwin's theory that the only reason why i am sitting here typing is because of a billion coincidences...

I 'opted out' last month and no-one has asked to check my car, but i think you are right, if i had an incident while driving on business i would think my employer could be held liable.

I would think it would be easy to force me to have taco fitted to keep the right to use my own car.

I know that there is one on the M6 just east of Brum city centre, never been down it but always looks strange whenever i see all the cars waiting for the lights.

No Worries, i aint got an issue, my bad really. another bad habit i have is to assume that everyone knows what i mean without having to explain myself properly! It did sound like i drive like a nob and in that case deserved some stick!

Do you honestly think you will be able to grip hold of the wheel from that position in the event of a tyre blowout at motorway speeds? Bloody annoys me, i have a habit of resting my wrists on the centre of the steering wheel while on the motorway and the amount of times my horn sounds when i hit a bump! god knows what people think, leaves me very embarrased.

This gets banded about whenever it turns out that a fatal accident involved a sales rep but with the current labour nannystate - sorry, government i can really see this being introduced at some stage.. Tacographs for sales rep cars, no doubt this will come.
