Still going on ten years later!! Not at my behest. I was contacted by the senior lawyer at the named firm who has also been trying to "out" the RSS involvement in prosecutions for as long as I have. Although they don't have any intention of doing any sort of legal appeal against the convi...

The case continues.
As suspected the involvement of RSS's Trevor Hall and Andrew Perry was a conflict of interest.
Pattersons Law is now involved.https://www.pattersonlaw.co.uk/rss-ltd-and-road-traffic-offence-enforcement/

This article from a Canadian source, http://www.calgarysun.com/news/columnists/michael_platt/2010/09/14/15350641.html lays it out quite clearly that speed wasn't an issue in the accident statistics. This only gives credence to the fact that driving within the prevailing conditions is much more impor...

But Steven Langdon, a retired police officer, told the court that the device used to record Mr Marriott's speed, known as a Speedscope, was also used by Nasa to dock its space stations. That is a very curious justification. Space docking takes place at very low speeds - inches per second rather tha...

Imagine: SMASH.... plate glass shop window broken in town centre after nightclubs close. Back at police station in CCTV room: "ooh that looks a bit like Dan Smith doesn't it?" Dan Smith's house 3 days later... "What the Hell is this. A NIP asking me to identify who broke an effing win...

Oh, did I mention that the Gatso Handbook is now available by FOI to the Home Office?
Just in case you should need a copy send them an email and you'll have one arrive pretty quickly.

Judicial review application in the process. 1st point is Wednesbury unreasonable on the costs. 2nd point is Wednesbury unreasonable that the magistrates decided that a Home Office FOI answer "No type approved speedmeter has been tested or approved for use affixed within a vehicle" meant th...

A company limited by guarantee is an alternative type of incorporation used primarily for non-profit organisations that require corporate status. A guarantee company does not have a share capital, but has members who are guarantors instead of shareholders. The guarantors give an undertaking to cont...

I have the full registration details from Comanies House. The Pepipoo post is complete in every way. There does appear to be a cock-up in the name though, but the details are correct otherwise, including reference to assisting Safety Camera Partnerships and equipment suppliers in defending test case...

As a convicted "speeder" I think Mad Hughes should be forced to resign from his position. Maybe a visit to Snowdonia with a couple of bottles of whisky might be a good idea. Actually, the issue is going to be resolved anyway. It'll be going to a Judicial Review then perhaps to Strasbourg ...

If an expert witness would be personally and financially affected by an adverse court decision, one must ask how far that witness would be likely to try to 'sway' his evidence or, put bluntly, perjure himself in order to preserve his wealth. The problem is that expert witnessess are paid. Any of th...

To bring this more onto track as regards testimony from a supposed Expert, I am facing the notorious hit squad who intend to make assertions that the ACPO Code of Practice statement "must not be used from within a vehicle" actually means that it can be used from within a vehicle. As the au...

ACPO & "Road Safety Support Ltd" are not elected poloticians. They must not be allowed to make up the laws or mis use ASBO's against motorists. ACPO are also hidingbehind being a private company. All our police policy is made in a private company to circumvent the FOI act. This has to...

Shouldn't really matter in any case. Any picture that shows more than one vehicle should be discarded as useless evidence. Section 16 of ACPO Code of Practice "Where there is a suggestion in the image that two or more vehicles are, or may, be in the measurement field the reading must be disrega...

Sounds like a real stitch up by the legal system to me. I have no problem with anyone getting a shake up in court if that's what's deserved but the whole system is so bent that right from the word go when we are required to give self incriminating evidence under threat of penalty we don't have a cha...

Just sent to the BBC: There's a HUGE conflict of interest taking place right now between the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and a new company formed by one of ACPO's members. The new company called Road Safety Support Ltd has recently hit the headlines in assisting in a trial for speedi...

I can't understand why the tiny number of people who feel strongly that they are not guilty and want to go to court are felt to be such a serious threat to law and order that they warrant a special "police squad". Oh, sorry, I know the reason. If they didn't do this then more might go to ...

You might already know about the new dream team set up by ACPO to combat the "Loophole lawyers" intent on getting a prosecution thrown out by loopholes in the law. Of course there are no loopholes. There is the law, good or bad. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime//article182672...
