The best cycle lanes are in Europe. They properly seperate the traffic ,are wide, well cared for and clear of rubbish. They also grant priority in some cases to the bicycle over the combustion engine. Could see that being very popular in the UK!!! I ride alot and also drive alot and I must say that ...

We had some friends around for the weekend last week. They brought their young son aged 14months. My wife and I are expecting too and we are jolly proud of ourselves and very excited. Now please bear with me. We spent most of the weekend worrying about the house while little Johnny went off explorin...

Cycling is something that needs to be encouraged in every respect. Licensing, insuring, regulating cyclists will do nothing other than put off casual users. Lets face it everyone who might think of doing the odd ride to work on a nice morning, or evening pub ride or fitness ride or getting back on a...

What about Savoldelli? He had an allergic reaction during he Giro, he is an excellent allrounder and has the disciplined Discovery Team behind him. Regarding the Lance factor, He is still an owner of that team and it is incredibly well drilled, I think you will find it functions very professionally ...

Although locking the rear wheel is a bad idea and does nothing to scrub off speed. Nearly all of the braking on a road bike is done with the front wheel - forget that old wives tales of going over the handlebars, as when the rider moves their weight back in th ecorrect way that is impossible. Tour d...

I always make sure I rev the tits off the car between each hump and then go over as slowly as humanly possible on the hump. This cause maximum nuisnace and annoyance to the local arseholes who asked for the humps and they either deserve everything they get in terms of a poor quality local environmen...

Impossible to answer. Thats why speed limits are arbitary from a safety point of view. If you want to have an environmental impact then speed limits make sense except in certain circumstances when going up hill sometimes you can coast up a hill quite quickly exceeding the speed limit and that would ...

I reckon most motorway go slows, are caused by the totally differing speeds between cars and trucks. You know the situation everyone piling up in lane 3 at sub 70mph a few wasters in the midde lane just taking up space, they wont pull in because they will need to pull straight back out again because...
