But persumably if you do employee said qualified mechanic and he makes a mistake and misses something, whilst you might have ...

I recently got my local scrappy to collect an old land rover chassis and got £5 fo...

Quite true that general public might not have any cause to go there but unless it is gated / barriered off then they still have access and the RTA would apply. An unadopted road is one that has not been adopted by the highway authority for maintenance at public expense. Therefore it is a private roa...

I've been done for 44 in a 40 through a temp limit on the motorway and still have the paperwork :( Presumably this was from a police officer rather than a fixed camera or Talivan, though. There's nothing in the guidelines to stop actual police officers issuing tickets for speeds below 10%+2 mph, al...

Hang on a minute! I NEVER presumed his friend was a non-smoker! I just wondered why he got in a snit with his friend when he pointed out it was illegal to smoke in a company vehicle? I dont think his complaint is with his mate at all, rather that his mate who actualy doesnt mind in the slightest if...

Yes... we know of the area. One of the Swiss ended up "lost" on the Expressway once. He was trying to find Speke Hall and use its "shuttle" to the Lennon/McCartney childhood homes. He never managed to find them  His verdict? One of the worst designed road set ups he's ever...

I do believe a vehicle so equiped was found on one of the fly on the wall police shows (Traffic Cops I believe) so it does happen. I have a worry about unmarked cars stopping or attempting to stop cars at night in deserted places. It is so easy to buy a pair of cheap foglights, place them behind the...

DON'T turn it off!......'cos it'll say it's OFF if someone rings it...... If it's in a tin it will say something to the effect that it's "unavailable". In both cases I get: " It has not been possible to connect your call. Please try again later ". Think it depends on the network...
