Wow, listening to the news the "for speed camera lobby" and general public really opened my eyes today. It also showed me how brainwashed people had become. Did you know that speed cameras can do all of the follwing: stop cyclists being killed save children stop hit and runs protect vulner... |

Have not been to Wales since 2007 due to being scammed 37 in 30 with open fields either side of me and still do not intend to return. Thanks to the North Wales Police I take my money elsewhere now. That £60 has cost them a lot more in lost revenue over the many weekends I know spend in England. Rega... |

Must be the cynic in me but I agree with Zitro, not making enough money now and bet they still keep all the cameras and scammers.
Regards
PS just spotted this thread further down the forum topics. June 5th Brunstron wants specs introduced.
Wales to get SPECS
Obviously cannot make up his mind. |

The IPCC should have raised concerns about the whole scam operation and closed it down. They then should have asked for proper policing to be implemented. |

Just read this on BBC News. I think it shows exactly what is wrong with our police forces and the public perception of them. This perception is then tagged onto all state institutions. Back to proper policing and reliable justice. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7603520.stm Have a look, views of ac... |

Its about time the courts used some common sense and convicted serious attacks on individuals with a sentence that would make these people refrain from doing it again. It does not need to be prison a flogging would suffice. At the same time they should then dismiss the ludicrous arrest and appearanc... |

Personally, I think they are more effective than a scammer hiding in a bush, horse box or half a mile away collecting £60 and giving 3 prize points out. At least it makes you aware of your transgression without punishing minor infringement. Anyone excessively speeding needs to be caught by the real ... |

My views on this are that it just shows that it is all about obtaining money. If they were really serious about stopping accidents then they would stop people there and then, give them a good telling off and if driving dangerously prosecute. The BBC have links to this story as they were out and abou... |

I liked the nice green colour to match the relaxed nature of the countryside :). Where I live they are red for anger. Tickled me that there was one on both sides of the road and they were so narrow I would not feel safe riding down one, plus it then left the road too narrow to let two cars pass with... |

Wirral is going to give out speed guns instead of building road humps in an attempt to cut speeding in 20mph zones. we know its hypocrisy but they will never give in now as the speed kills lie has gone on for too long now and they will never admit that it is inapproprite speed that kills. Also, they will never give up the cash cow regardless of how many safe 6mph over the limit drivers they prosecute who feel agg... |

Agree, the keep to the limit or slower brigade without experience of normal driving, anticipating, reading the road ahead, watching for things others might do, where is that pedestrian going, or watching that that bike wobble are more dangerous than an experienced driver thinking ahead. However, aft... |
