I had only seven days to find my licence. I got onto the Navy Gravy but they didn't seem interested said there was a war on. I daren't involve my MP after a dodgey batch of shellfish gave his entire Masonic Lodge the squitters, he won't speak to me and has said there is no way he will put my forward...

I recently sold my AJS 16M 350 which I bought in 1951, a very nice Sunbeam S8 and sidecar that was my fathers and I used on my honeymoon in 1958 when we visited the Benelux countries. I also sold a 1952 Bown Deluxe 98cc which the wife bought during the Suez crisis. I was itching for another bike - w...

There needs to be another option, start tailgaiting 1mm from the bumper of the car in front! Seriously though, it takes an extreme case to make me under take. I has a friend prosicuted under just the circumstances you have described. Empty road, one car in lane 2. He waited and waited and then under...

If the road is empty use it! Only in our nanny state is it thought that people can only check one mirror at the most. Even the septic tanks manage more than one moving lane of traffic, even up to 5 and they are brain dead. Angry as a Skate. Les Chalards Master of Fishmongey (retr.)

Les, are you for real or were you created by Peter Tinniswood? I am very real you can see a picture of me on my website. Peter Tinniswood?, didn't he have a butchers shop in Shoreditch, ran a gambling den in the back of the shop in a false walk in freezer. Got 3 years when they caught him. Finally s...

I am often asked why I overtake with oncoming traffic clearly visible. It simple - I like to see whats coming, far safer. No nasty shocks everything in view. Sadly most drivers don't realise that on most roads there is room for four vehicles abreast so three is really no problem. Occasionaly people ...

Thanks for your input Godfrey, I was in a rush when I posted the message as I have a Nigerian 419er on the go plus a new whippet experiment that I cannot divulge quite yet plus a half empty bottle of claret. I had meant to type: Lies+Scameras=Cash I have done some research and apparently the Post Of...

Northamptonshire police have just admitted approximately one crash a day! Never mind just put the cost on the rates... On a more serious note do you think these are real accidents or are they staging them to get the necessary figure to put up more cameras thus more money? Regards Les Chalards Master...

I think Paul Smith should be publicly praised and recognised for his oustanding contribution to road safety and free speach. As a Republican I cannot forward his name to the present ruler for a mickey mouse award, so suggestions please as to how this great man can be recognised for his dilgence and ...

Being unfortunate enough to live in Northamptonshire one of the first counties to instal scameras I and other concerned citizens produced the reasonably sucessful stickes with the message : 'Northamptonshire home of vehicle stealth tax'. It certainly annoyed the fascists. If the message had a fault ...
