| Yes - that white is part of the start of the bridge wall, so there is no space to drive anywhere except on the actual lane. I did notice last time I was driving on the Continent (mainly Germany and Austria), that the lanes weren't much longer, but they did use the hard shoulder more for filtering in. |

Probably the same Lancs scam van/driver I had overtaking me north bound on the M6 North of Preston about 6 weeks ago.
He didn't just edge past me - shot probably closer to the word, so must have been doing quite a bit more than the 70ish I was doing. |
