| Has anyone realised that whatever the speed limit the amber period of traffic lights is always the same - 3 seconds? It takes 50% longer to stop from 40mph than it does from 30mph. So the faster the speed limit, the more difficult it is to stop before the red light. The DofT say they take care of th... |
