If all roundabout's were redesigned so that the roads join and leave them at true tangents then traffic could get on and off them easier, - as when getting on the roundabout you would be doing more of a merge than a turn left and vici verca. !

I recall a motorway junction near Leeds where I ended up back at the same garage three times before asking how to get to my destination. It turned out the slip road was based on a corkscrew and forked about three times, but to get to the point, HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT THEY DON'T PUT A SIGN WITH THE ...

I've just seen J15 on Google maps, superbly bad.

You'd need a car with an Indianapolis setup and full ground effect to pick up speed on that bend!!!

Great Picture of the T junction above, I remember trying to get on here once and being forced off down the next slip road. Mind you I've always found the bend on the slip road from Manchester Airport onto the M56 Northbound tricky, as it either tightens half way round or somehow takes you through 3 ...

I'd say if an oncoming car forces you to swerve then they are negligent. I can fully understand your anger at the council for creating this hazard but I think your claim should be against the car driver. Don't get me wrong, I detest all road calming schemes, like where I live they introduced parking...

The M60 clockwise near Brinninton has a bend so tight it has a 50mph limit.

And if I recall a negative camber too.

But this stretch has been branded 'the worst stretch of motorway in Britain'

Well! it's like opening a can of worms, but is does show who knows best = the motorists who use these roads.

Always found the Sharston sliproad a bit tricky due to the amount of lorries on this stretch of motorway.

The M60 near Brinnington is the location of Britain's worst motorway junction as the northbound Bredbury sliproad joins the motorway here from the right hand side, yes you join the motorway in the fastlane! Doubters should see for themselves on Google Maps. I challenge anyone in this forum to find a...
