I think that we (Paul) had a lucky escape not being included in this program. It was as has been said utter tosh, every driver in the country will who watched it will have seen through the contrived tests they ran and come to the conclusion that it was an irrelevence. Brian Delany of the IAM, was tr...

It's all about risk; Risk of getting caught and the risk of consequences of being caught, it is this balance that is out with regard to uninsured driving Lets look at the problem; insurance cost is out of the reach of most young drivers and to be fair many more mature as well. A young kid who has pa...

P I nipped out to Sainsbury's once with just round-the-house Adidas trousers on as it's literally a two minute ride and I couldn't be arsed to change my trousers (had all the other gear on though) and I've never ridden more cautiously in my life. And there is the rub; does "crash protection&qu...

I cancelled the AA a few years ago, writing them a letter about why, it was because of their kowtow attitude towards the flawed Govt policies.

I cancelled the RAC for the same reason two years ago.

Now rely on the insurance provided service

Nothing new, we were doing this when I was a kid and even when I was serving in Northern Ireland, we'd break the monotony of a quiet night shift by "Surfing" through Londonderry on the top of an armoured LandRover

Having said that, should she be driving in the first place?

Agreed, if her bump touches the steering wheel and interferes with her ability to park, you have to question her general ability to control the car.

Actually is it "blatant sex discrimination"? Here we have a private organisation the British Horse Society, which is probably over 80% women, going out of their way to do something for their members. Trailer Horse boxes are fast becoming obselete and the new breed of vehicle requires this ...

In a similar vein, I have noticed them building platforms at the side of the M40 in a couple of locations between Warwick and Oxford, and maybe elsewhere, but that is the route I travel most often. They are about the dimensions of an ISO container, and there is a unit underneath with pipes looking ...

I think Brunstrom will survive. He chose the one section of society that is unlikely to get anyone really too emotional, a white biker. Add to that the biker was unlicensed, uninsured and riding like a knob and this story will blow over as soon as something else happens. Had Brunstrom shown a pictur...

Should be fine If it it where I think you are talking about the markings are related to the variable speed measuring system rather than a speed camera

Actually there is pretty well a prima facae case of speeding against the Taxi driver. The Taxi Driver whose daughter took the photograph "whilst he over took the police vehicle" said "Especially as he was doing 70 mph" People really should think before they speak to the press

Surely all those cameras aimed at oncoming traffic are discriminatory ? Motorcycles don't require front number plates and thus many riders just safely ignore them.
