I can't understand for the life of me why they'd let people ride without helmets. I'm not a biker myself so I'm not sure how riders in the UK feel about this.

| Exceeding a speed limit should only be punished in cases where it is a component of a dangerous driving incident, and the punishment should then be based on the dangerous driving. That way, speeders would have free reign, except for the odd hit and miss case where a copper actually catches one. Nop... |

| This could be a financial 'home run' for the SCPs. It appears that many more people are fighting 3 points and £60 than in the past. Sites like pepipoo.com are seeing to that. :D Drop the penalty to 2 points and £40 and suddenly it seems that little bit easier to just pay up and shut up. Less queues ... |
