So will any-one make a statement that motorist should stick to the law until the law is changed, and that the users of this forum will stop helping the people who look to it to help them get off legitimate prosecutions??

What's the harm in doing 71 on a motorway?" Very little and of course even if the gatso's were on motorways they would not be set to flash at 71mph, the drivers that do 71MPh have posible drifted over and we all can do this however carefull, the danger comes from the morons who rather than drif...

Where does the sign ask that you travel at 40mph??? I always thought that the numbers within the red circle were the maximum, on any streach of road until the next instruction, I think a read of the highway code is needed!!

Of course we now know the answere to the origional question posed, "what speed should he be doing" was no more than 30 mph, hence the legal difficulties

NO Smeggy high speeds are very safe, and cause no difficulties at all, what planet are you really from, do you drive?? Do you ever try to drive within the limits/law??

and who are you to make this statement , and even IF the limit was unreasonable the setting of a camera at 17 mph over the limit would not.

The rules of the road are NOT optional.

yes having the camera set so you get caught at 47mph in a 30mph limit really is very unreasonable of the camera people isn't it!! :lol: :lol:
