and agencies are under no legal obligation to give out their staffs personnel details. So how do you sort out then Einstein???
Of course the simplest way is to send it to the agency who will confirm who their drivers was and fill out the details. This is standard practise across the whole industry

the old "agenda" theme is getting a bit boring!! I cant beleive you are still sticking your head in the mud and denying that Scania has been totally out of order and he should have phoned Pollock first like i suggested and got this sorted out before trying to darken their name. So i used t...

I have just phoned Scott Pollock (my old boss) and we have gone over the situation. When the NPI arrives at Pollock they look up to see who was driving or if an agency was used. If an agency was used the NPI is forwarded to them and it is them who fill out the drivers details and return the form NOT...

Why on earth would they want to "set up" an agency driver or even protect one of his own companies drivers when he has probably never met or seen most of them. A good question. The problem is that this does happen. I see quite a few in court, and its reasonable to suppose that there are m...

that was the reason i wouldnt work for them. it is not the reason i am retaliating against them :!: still think you should phone Pollock and get it cleared up. If the agency has told them it was you, what are they supposed to do as Pollock wont be able to get the tachos until the agency forward the...

reading this reply it does seem clearer to me that the agency is the one to blame especially if you have not actually phoned the company to get their side of the story. For all you know the agency might not have told Pollock it was not you...i find it had to see what Pollock would gain from this? If...

The agency you worked for is who you should be having a go at as they should not release your details unless they can prove it was you that was driving. they wont get off unscathed either. the guy in question wasnt in yesterday but i will be dropping in today on my way to work. im leaving soon anyw...

he can prove him self innocent easily by asking the agency who employed him to confirm this, he does not need to start his one man vendetta against a company he obvioulsy dislikes for what ever reason but.........this is not what the argument is about anymore. ...actually happens quite a lot when 100's of vehicles and drivers are involved but thankfully is easy to prove and one which the authorities have a sympathetic view of.. This does not make it acceptible. Companies are obliged to exercise due dilligence in order to be able to identify who was drivi...

you obviously have no experience of how a haulage company works, a proper haulage company of a decent size (i have worked for many). The back office staff very rarely get involved or even know who the drivers are i would therefore find the conversation that you quote very unliklely!! Why does nobody...
