| I don't agree with red light jumping. But I do know that I drive differently around red light cameras on the A12 Eastern Avenue on my weekly commuter. I'll slow down to 30mph in case it changes on me, rather than keeping going 50mph. I have to spot the cameras at each junction. If a light turns red... |

| In case there's anyone left who didn't see my previous warnings about thewurzel, they're here and here . My advice, which you are free to ignore along with the rest of my ramblings ;), is not to bother with him as he has been trolling on other sites for a while. For anyone who's getting fed up with... |

| Well done to the lorry driver who knocked down what looked like a red light camera on the A4 Sutton Court road, London, today, as well as a section of barrier. I hope he didn't suffer any injury from the experience! So you support breaking the speed limit (an assumption based on your presence here)... |

No disagreement there, but consider how many children you pass on an average trip, compared to how many act like that.
We should not ignore children's safety just because of the actions of a small minority. |

| The hull figures are highly suspect; for one, I don't think they've taken into account any confounding factors. Such as traffic avoiding the route altogether because of suspension damaging humps, but also, more importantly Safer is safer, speed humps wouldn't be there without the lower limit. Peopl... |

| Pedestrian!!! FFS Don't jump in the road - you are smaller and more agile than a car and more likely to get hurt! Comprende? :D Driver!!! FFS Look out for pedestrians who may move in to the road, and adjust your speed so that you can stop in time if they do, you are the one driving a ton of metal a... |

Nope, not deliberately anyway, though I can see that my views on this subject may provoke that in some people. I don't like being called... |

| That's certainly the logical extreme of what the "slower is safer" brigade keep suggesting. It's yet another basic way in which one of their core arguments can be shown to be totally ludicrous. No it isn't, and nobody has ever suggested this (except the "I should be able to drive as ... |

| However, when a car hits a child, it's nearly always going to be the driver's lack of attention at fault... If you believe this, then there seems little point in further discussion. Please explain your reasoning for thinking this way, referencing how you would react in the driving theory hazard per... |

If one group are disproportionately represented in casualty statistics then there is probably something about that g... |

When you dismiss anyone who supports cameras as a troll, you're unlikely to find one, in your eyes.
What would a "non troll" camera supporter have to say to please you? (Other than "I've changed my mind, cameras are evil" ) |

| No, the only clue is a photograph which often does not show the driver, or a numberplate which has been cloned Which, as cars have to be registered to the person who is most likely to be driving them at any one time, is pretty good evidence. The owner of the car is welcome to challenge that fact. a... |

| Yes, they already fail to investigate some crimes because there are not enough clues. Outcry? No, people are used to it these days - it doesnt cause an outcry! But there are enough clues to investigate speeding drivers caught by cameras, and it doesn't even need to take the police away from investi... |

People know to expect this camera in that area, so drive at a more reasonable speed than they otherwise might. Just because there are things other than speed that ca... |
