Knotts of Stratford becomes the latest victim of the recession. If a dealership can't survive in Stratford there is no hope!! :o :o :o :o

The vids that have been posted have not shown the wider picture. Have a look at this video and look at how clear the signs are. Anyone who can't see these signs shouldn't be on the road driving at all - good that the car is subsequently 'taken out'. As for the innocent passengers, yes, I feel sorry ...

Sorry to hear about this Tony. At least you were aware of what was happening. Can you imagine coming out of B&Q and finding your car gone or clamped with stickers all over it - imagine the public humiliation with the latter. At least the police took you to some car park allowing some discretion....

Can't they work on solving real crimes? That is a real crime isn't it, illegal plates? You know full well what he means - don't take something so literally just in order to sound like a smart arse. Thank you and well said! I am just putting this in perspective - 30 minutes earlier the police were '...

I have just got back from doing 3500 trouble free miles across Europe 2 up on my Triumph Sprint. Then, having just got back in to England, I got pulled on the M20 by a marked traffic car. I knew he was behind me so did everything right - indicated, didn't exceed the speed limit etc etc etc. He follo...

On the face of it, you're right. But it's NOT TRUE ! At least, not in the way they say. He didn't JUST get a 2 month driving ban, he was forced (should he want to drive again) to pass an EXTENDED driving test, AND was sentenced to a further "120 hours community service". And it was NOT a ...

Went to my local 'bikers world' shop today - in the Midlands area. To my horror I witnessed a young lad trying to ride his new Apprilia 125 - his dad had just bought him it. Brand new on an 08 plate, he stalled it about 20 times whilst trying to pull away - into a 50mph main road, I might add!! A fr...

Thanks for your post 'In gear'. It makes good sense!! Problem with me getting 3 points is not with the car, it's with the Yamaha R1 I ride - I'll be stung by the insurers on that - an extra £80 a year  I have only held my bike license for 1 year. Does anyone know what would happen if I got 6 ...

Well, it's now 14 days and no NIP. I take it, if it doesn't arrive by Tuesday, I'm in the clear??

I bought a car from my local Mazda dealer back in November which subsequently developed a serious electrical fault. The car was handed back to them in late November and they sourced me a replacement (which is great). The original car had my cherished number on which was transfered to the new car. I ...

Just a thought - it's my birthday on the 29th (about the time the NIP should be sent), maybe they'll let me off?

Thanks for the prompt reply. If I get a NIP I'll just cough up - I know that I was speeding, will just be mad with myself for getting caught! There was no other traffic, the conditions were clear and dry - I was driving safely. Although, you could argue that I was in auto pilot mode. I read somewher...
