I saw yesterday a cyclist riding along a cycletrack at the side of the road, trouble was, he was cycling against the flow of the traffic, despite there being direction arrows in the cycle lane. He went right past a PCSO who did NOTHING. What do you think PCSOs are there to do - apart from make us b...

Obviously prevention is better than cure, but at 150mph in a family saloon (a fast one at that!) you won't walk away. I was astonished to hear the other day that the encap tests don't cover rear end collisions! These must be amongst the most common types of collisions on our roads :loco: It really d...

My point exactly, imagine if car manufactureres could encase the driver and passengers in the same sort of shell Schumy and co. have. This sort of thing though would no doubt cause car prices to sour, but as a familly man it would be a strong selling point for me.

Ferrari are launching a road safety campaign :) http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/050430/13/amo6.html Some critics may say that the F1 teams have no idea about road safety& only promote speed & aggresive driving techniques. On the other hand I think that a lot of the features on F1 cars could impro...

A4059 Hirwaun/Brecon is one of my faves as well, I like it in the car, or on my bike, so if you see a cyclist with white legs and ginger hair, leave lots of room :legorally: I also like the Mountian road that goes over the Rhigos Mountain between Treorchy & Hirwaun. Most of Scotland too :D

If you think you may have inadvertently clipped her, you should report the incident to your local police immediately. The law states that where you have caused damage to another’s property, or caused injury, you must stop (if possible) and exchange details (Sec 170 RTA) where injury is involved, the...

The British public are used to this sort of thing, give with one hand and take away with another :( As a low milage driver 6 to 8 thousand a year, I wonder what the cost will be. In reality though anything any of the parties say can be taken with a pinch of salt, because once they are in they do wha...

Last time it was like bloody Alton Towers, we were telling people how long on average they would have to queue. The look on faces when you said 2 hours was ghastly :hissyfit:

Indeed, the roads where I live are appalling. The council have just resurfaced the main toads such as the A470, and parts of the A4059, but the rest of the roads in the community are dire. Where I live (Cwmaman stereophonics land 8-) ) some of the roads are little better than dirt tracks. I recently...

A lot of police officers tend not to wear seat belts whilst on duty. Our policy states that we are exempt from wearing them whilst escorting prisoners, as it is not nice to be strangled with your own belt. It is a fact however that many officers tend not to wear them at all, as it hinders fast exit ...

I've tried putting the img thingies on both side of the link, so why wont this picure work?
