But their entire actions are meaningless. They have no powers to report for consideration of proceedings, no NiP can result from their efforts and one has yet to hear of anyone receiving a warning letter from them or from the Old Bill as a result. If a letter were to be received the best thing to d...

There are four of us travelling not 1, I obtained the prices from the trainline.com, now when I asked it to find me the cheapest way, why did it not? I cannot be arsed searching round when I have asked for the CHEAPEST way. As far as the plane is concerned i will leave my car at Stansted £18.30 and...

I know the seating issue is very bad, but at least you were able to use the time to do something productive like read. I did a journey on sunday (Canterbury - Felixstowe at an average 25mph) so I know it can get a bit frustrating though. The government needs to get its act together and build at the...

Perhaps if they only counted the figures for people who live in Cumbria, then maybe they will hit there target. I see from the local news that more people have been killed in the last couple of days.

Exclude the trucker from Perth and thats one less statistic to try and manipulate.

The reason people do not use trains is because of the prices. I lloked at three options for going back home to Preston too see the family Train, Plane and Bus here are the prices, prices are for two adults, 1 child and 1 infant. First time today I have seen this, very long straight section of road very rural on the Essex/Suffolk border. Incorrect 30mph limit in place, and there they where two old gits (looked like ex headmasters in flourescent jackets with a poxy police Lti 20-20, pinging cars!!!!! To give them credit it wa...

30mph is a good default speed limit for villages. But these days they are probably applying them and and enforcing them for entirely the wrong reasons. Somehow we need to put speed limits 'back in their place' as useful servants rather then incompetent masters. Suffolk is a nightmare all the villag...

When I was doing my Rospa training I had to do the Army and Navy roundabout several times. My instructor pointed to the bags over the traffic lights. "Those bags have cost £1,000,000. They spent the money on the traffic lights and they didn't work." I assume by not working he meant, they ...

My other half works for one of the big supermarkets, and last night some very drunken Mancs came in the store and then where shown the door by security. They then proceeded to handbrake turn around the car park in there mini bus, ending up side swiping a customers car. The police where called but sa...

Using the maths from this website http://www.hintsandthings.co.uk/garage/stopmph.htm The stopping distance is 12ft between the two cars speeds 65kph is 40mph and 60kmh is 37.5mph. I fail to understand the staggering difference between 32kmh and 5kmh, as suggested I may just have to try it out myself...

The former video shows how vacuous the latter is, Handy. we could go on all night comparing pro-speeding and anti-speeding videos. Oh the joy of youtube. If you think the video is vacuous, do the maths ... if 2 cars start braking at EXACTLY the same point and one is going at 70mph and the other is ...

I am from Merseyside, and had friends at Hillsborough. Ah the truth outs, a potential kopite, I am from Merseyside, and I hate the place, it has too many people who like to feel hard done too, I took my other half to Liverpool for a day out, she comes from the East End of London and she said Liverp...

Am I the only one who is being driven nuts by these places, why do I have to repeat myself over and over again, why do I have to listen to someone who can barely speak English, I am sick to the back teeth of them. My latest encounter was with BT engineers, could not understand the lady, and she clea...
