I'd be interested to know the various power outputs, power to weight ratios and peak torque figures for those cars because at a glance it it is suggesting to me that under powered sheds are uneconomical at motorway speeds so the motor buying public should be buying cars with proper engines to save m... |

There doesn't seem to be any correlation between change in collisions and average speed. Ergo the very method by which cameras are said to work clearly isn't the case... Shame the report doesn't mention general reduction in injuries via safer cars. Or change in traffic levels. What is needed is the ... |

He thought he couldn't be caught so he behaved like a Grade A tit. There is no justification nor excuse for such behaviour. |

I think that your indecision gives you your answer. If you were happy with LHD then you would have bought it by now. :) I think that is very true. I may keep an eye out for a mint RHD instead. Or hope the money fairy drops a pile of cash in my hand so I can buy that and keep mine :D They're both th... |

I usually stay well back. It's possible that over the years I've started to sit closer and not realised it of course. |

No. I have an alfa spider for everyday. I used to use the rhd grale as an every day car but I generally walked to work then so it wasn't an issue. When I actually used it every day it wasn't so bad. The garage I used were very good so I could often ring them up during the day and say 'it's making th... |

I haven't got such deep pockets any more. Mine has been off the road since March but I can see the sense in selling mine and switching to a better one. With the garage I use they aren't that expensive to maintain, especially when you get one where they've already done everything... The conversion pr... |

The lhd one is in much better condition. Mine spent early part of its life by the seaside so it is more rusty by a long way. I've already spent quite a bit dealing with rust in the 10 years or more I've had it. Garage has someone else's 16v in bits and even after never having any rust work done it's... |

I've had a rhd version of the same model for years. The one I've seen is a mint original lhd and with all the work mine needs over the next few years it could work out cheaper to sell mine to someone that is desperate for an rhd version (most go abroad now) and get this lhd one! It will be an absolu... |

I was thinking about getting a model of car that is only available in LHD but I can think of so many scenarios where the lhd could cause some serious bother. As a passenger in a RHD car I'm aware of just how little I can see sometimes compared to the driver. Just the few I could come up with: Overta... |

But now they have specs all over it it makes me want to get a ticket on purpose as that would be a real achievement... That road will NEVER be a safe road. You have a highly twisty and demanding route which has mixed traffic of HGVs, mimsing sight seers, motorcyclists and commuters. The roa... |

I put mine on silent and leave it in a pocket. Then it doesn't matter what messages or calls I miss until I get where I'm going. I can deal with them later. No call is that important. If it is that important it's the kind of call you shouldn't answer when driving anyway! |

To stop it all you need to do is to ask who will be charged with corporate manslaughter when it fails and someone dies as a result. Stand back and wait for furious back pedalling. |

Children aren't as good at adults at judging vehicle speeds either. They need a much bigger amount of difference to notice if one car is travelling faster than another. 20mph I think it was, whereas an adult usually needs 7 mph difference or so. Explains why children do just step off the kerb... I w... |

I think you can only claim if the hole in question had been reported or there is a good chance that the council should have already inspected the road. Have a look on fixmystreet and see whether it is there already. No harm in having a go at getting them to pay up and pointing out how much more dang... |

Sorry to hear about your loss. Personally I'd think about paying for some storage in the short term so you can clear the house but not feel like you're rushing into getting rid of things you may prefer to keep. If the furniture is original 1950s then a museum might be interested as I'm sure there ar... |
