Pedestrians have priority on any road - but only a foolish one would step in front of a lorry to exercise that right... yet from what I have seen on YouTube, many seem insistent on making a point of risking all to exercise their right of way! |

Some wag had pinned an arrow to the lights, to draw attention to Bill's stripey wellingtons, as they all posed for the inevitable Facebook/YouTube video! |

When I cycle to and from work, in around the 20 minutes it take, I am lucky to see more than two or three others... but I know there are more, as I can see their tracks when the path is damp. I seem to see differing riders most days in rotation... mostly they are regulars, but we each set off at sli... |

This Greenshed (despite the name change)is the same person who when confronted with reports that his website was not functioning as it should, buried his head in the sand, and refused to even contemplate such an occurrence, let alone go and check it out! http://www.safespeed.org.uk/forum/viewt... |

We must be doing something right if Greenshed is still monitoring the site! Is it because the site that he used to be in charge off, has far less information than this one? What have they reported on since 25TH JULY 2007 ?? http://i70.servimg.com/u/f70/18/37/86/54/cumbri10.jpg So why have the ... |

I see rural "Safety" Camera Partnership are getting fed up with observant drivers, who slow down when they see the camera vans. In a bid to stamp this out and maintain revenues, they have taken delivery of a "stealth" camera van, which blends in to the stunning scenery of the Eng... |

It is always down to experience... or lack of it. Even stupidity can be avoided once you have experience in most cases. As a cyclist, I can only arrive on time if I set off in good time. If I am late, I cannot pedal faster and harder to make up enough lost time, as I am not fit enough. Car drivers w... |

can't have been a factor surely... he was only doing 57 in a 60. It is not easy to say from a single picture, but 57 along this lane does not seem an appropriate speed for the conditions to me. :( http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/07/10/article-2359150-1ABF457F000005DC-154_634x437.jpg |

The problem I can read in this report, which is hinted at in the foreward, is that the real causes of deaths and injuries are difficult to ascribe a cause to. Take the cameras at Ings on the A591, they were "justified" by the SCP there because the KSI history which was above the average fo... |

I have just imagined I had a cake for lunch... and very nice it was too! Lemon Drizzle cake - I can taste the tangy lemon on my tongue! Is it illegal to HAVE lights of the wrong colour facing front, or only if they are in use? I'm thinking particularly of a pair of Port and Starboard navigation lights.
