For the purposes of this legislation, the DVLA is the SoS. The Act requires that the DVLA (SoS) serve a notice on the driver, notifying them of the revocation and the date of the revocation which cannot be before the date of service of the notice. As you are probably aware, the status of the streetlights are crucial. Not everything that looks like a streetlight is a streetlight. IIRC, the height of the lamp is one factor. Technically, at this stage, the only important issue is the driver's identity. An allegation of an applicable motoring offence has been made, and you (the company) are required to provide information regarding the driver. It doesn't matter whether the allegation is true or not, only that it is made.... |

If she was on say 9 points and the got 6 points, she'd be liable for a totting up ban unless she demonstrated undue hardship (which can't be used twice). |

I got a fixed penalty notice on the 19th of may, for doing 91mph in a 70mph limit. I thought i was'nt doing that speed, and told the PC at the time, so i decided to challenge the fixed penalty. I was caught with a hand held lazer gun. I didnt recieve my summons for court untill the 3rd of september... |
