...where speeding or use of inappropriate speed has been recorded as a contributory factor. Interesting that they're now conflating "speeding" and "inappropriate speed" to get the numbers up! It would be interesting to see the %age breakdown between the two components. Porcine a... |

Re the "Rich List"... Interesting to note that the ones at the top who are getting seriously richer tend to be "foreigners" who have moved their bases to London as the tax climate in the UK is relatively favourable to non-doms. Our "Home-grown Billionaires" seem to be s... |

Style="Reminiscing Old F*rt" I remember the first time I did the Swedish Rally (the delightfully titled "KAK Rallyt") and being somewhat bemused at a drivers' briefing given to "foreign entrants", part of which involved being told of the dangers presented by Moose and m... |

They're only any use if they are set to trigger at sensible values. We have a few that get moved around in the area where I live and the stupid things flash "30" at you even if you are going rather less than that (according to my GPS). If they were to trigger at, or just below, the ACPO li... |

I'm old fashioned, my class system goes Capitalists/Haute Bourgeoisie Petty Bourgeoisie Proletariat/Working Class Lumpen Proletariat (Nowt's changed since the old days expect that the Lumpens now rely on benefits to survive) I reckon that (in the UK anyway) there are now only two classes... 1. I've heard it said that in some of the "bible belt" states if a (married) couple are indulging in some fairly active sex and, by accident, fall out of bed, they'll break about 20 laws before they hit the ground! |

It's a tad worrying if you think about it... If they can't write very simple software - ie to acknowledge a payment - what is the likelyhood of the stuff that they write to (a) identify who's actually in the "zone" and (b) send out correct bills to those who might actually have been so, ac... |

In his diatribe against the privatisation of NHS services, Moonbat misses the most important fact of all... GPs' practices already are, indeed have been since the inception of the NHS, private companies. So, wrong again George. |

There is a product call the "G-lock" that is starting to become popular with trackday drivers of cars with ordinary three point inertia reel belts. It locks the belt up and makes it behave like a static belt. Somewhat off-topic, but... I don't know whether you do track days, certainly oth... |

I thought that 20 limits had to be "self enforcing"... Speed bumps, chicanes etc... Bearing in mind that a speedometer isn't IIRC required by law to indicate any speed under 25mph, how else could it be? |
