OK, the idea of giving cyclist a safe amount of clearance when overtaking them is fine, and many of us have been mindful of that for above 50 years of driving, but when might we expect to hear about measures to discourage a proportion of cyclists from behaving like dickheads?

| It depends on the height relationship between the pedals. With some cars the brake pedal pad was set so much higher than the accelerator pad, that lifting the foot was necessary. IIRC the Ford Consul/Zephyr/Zodiac range of the 1950s were like that, but hopefully more recent designs do not incorporat... |

Company tax payable is based on profits though, not income or turnover, is it not? A company could have a huge income/turnover, and still make a loss and eventually go out of business. Now there's a thought....
