I looked around your site for the "Safe Speed related content" as per this thread and couldn't find any, am I missing something?

Ditto for the GPS ad really...

Hi all,
I am currently trying to help out a charity that provides suport to car accident victims. My website is just meant to be a bit of fun really and a bit of a stressbuster for people that have been tailgated or cut up on the motorway ect. It also might be useful to run a search in the future when buying a second hand car to see if it has been listed on there.
It's address is http://www.platebreaker.com It's just a database that I hope will get massive so that people can look for their own number on there in a years time maybe.
Have fun on here and stay safe on the roads.... :)

My site has similar goal of promoting safe driving in real life terms, not what mandated by governments. I'm adding a reciprocating link to your site, too :D

Safe Driving site. And defensive driving, too. :)

Thanks, Misha

you need to remember this site is about road safety, not breaking the law [insert sardonic smiley of your choice here]

Keep yer hair on handy ( if you've any left from yer flying off at tangents and handles ) (be nice to see you're log book - possibly got more hours flying time than one member of this site who flies as a professional  )- it's been proved that these sprays don't work - might as well spray yer numberplate with Mr Sheen .And anyway as said so often , WE DO NOT ENTERTAIN OR CONDONE LAWBREAKING
Best antidote to cameras is contained in yer sig (hint it's not somewhere to keep a beach)
lets bring sanity back to speed limits.
Opinions in postings are mine only , and should not be held as the official policy of this site

Safe Speed can see the value in a 'cruise control' device, but no other, (that we know of) device that may otherwise limit your control of your car.

how to get out of a traffic ticket

Postby katherine on Fri Dec 04, 2009 14:36

how to get out of a traffic ticket
You should fight your ticket because you can. Many people think, “I was given a ticket. There is nothing I can do.” Most people do not fight their ticket and as a result police officers can continue to give tickets that may in some cases be unwarranted. Simply paying the ticket is an admission of guilt and results in the highest fine as well as a stain on your driving record. A mark on your driving record has several implications depending upon your driving history.

Having looked at your website link and see that you are Texas based, and see your concern over insurance cost increases, here in the UK we have found, (as expected) the more the authorities try to increase penalties and the greater the number of 'offenders' the less the insurance companies increase premiums. With vast numbers being penalised for 'speeding' and in the UK, yet 83% of the population agreeing that they still 'speed' insurances barely change in cost for 1 or 2 offences, although younger (less experienced) drivers seem to be 'loaded' by insurance companies.
