Getting a lot of "Warning: Page has Expired" problems when using the "back" function - any ideas -or is it ie6 ?

If you've done a posting, or a search that required you to enter something which effectively gets transmitted as php code, these do expire. Browsers that allow regression to the previous page in such circumstances I believe are probably a less good option (IMHO) - allowing a misleading state of affairs.
