Something like that Big Tone

or

Can be applied to something you have done or said yourself, a slightly different effect to the embarrassed smiley, some behaviour you have witnessed or to something posted by another

OK but I'd see the first of those as more 'despair' and the 2nd Star Trek as thoughtful - if the head shook (no) then changes to Oh dear ...
But if you chaps like it then I am sure we can use it .....:)

That's the thing :)

I could see myself using it a lot replying to weepej :D Of course he would be able to use it against me too; a kind of smilie war :P

Say, can the maximum allowed amount of smilies in a post be increased from 8 to 20 please? :P

Actually, how did they do that? I just posted and it said no more than 8 smilies because I tried to include the whole reply from Toltec along with mine but I’m sure I once saw about 50 in one of their posts, most of them popcorn :D

They can't see this I hope :dighole:

I set a limit :) I can reset it if it seems to be frustrating people - thought it maybe wise ...
I actually have lost the really good heli smilie that I had (originally a forum user here sent it to me - I must find it !) :)

Isn't "meetong" how a Brummie describes his tongue :D

Just kidding. Ya gotta av a laff eh :bunker:

How about motorbike and cycle ones? Actually there is one I saw somewhere I like which is 'smug'. It's looks.. well.. smug.

It's like a smile but the mouth is higher and wider and deeper. Quite funny and useful I think.

Where did I see it?... :scratchchin:

In case anyone's wondering, I've moved some of the recently added smilies to the second page as it's a bit offputting to have big animated ones on the default set on the posting page. I can see :tumbleweed: and :headbash: getting plenty of use here

The smiley limit is currently set to 8 per post, btw, which seems reasonable to me. We didn't have one before, which is why some posts had a lot more.

I was expecting to find the "Get my coat" smilie, I'm very disappointed not to...

Oh.

Well they are bash your head against a brick wall, book ends ! :)
Seriously I see the red headed chap as an angry bash your head ...
and the 'normal' chap bash your head as an annoyed / frustrated bash your head against brick wall .... so less 'severe'. :)

If you hate the fact there are two - which I can understand some may - I would plumb for the yellow headed one - But some previous posts may then no longer have their smilie ....
