How on earth do you collect methane from those sources? :D

OMG!.........Where do you people think that YOUR poo goes?

....i'm listening?...........

Oh! Did someone say a sewage works? Give that man a medal!

There it is passed through a "digester", you know it's like your stomach, where anarobic bugs break down the matter, part of which is a great deal of Methane gas. It's known as BIO-Gas. Now unless you all can suddenly stop passing on your "fruits"...... The matter is going to degrade either way, slowly, and pollute the planet to atmosphere, or quickly in a contained digester to produce a cheap non Arab fuel for your Pride and Joy!:)

Some Diesel Lorries in this country already benefit from the conversion using a mix....

In some countries, Holland and Denmark are 2 I think, it has been used to provide cheap electricity by using engines to drive alternators, then the hot water from the engine is piped to nearby houses, and via heat exchanger coils provides hot water and heating to houses. Laugh if you wish, it's your loss....just keep paying the Arabs the price they demand eh? Or pay the speculators who drive the price of oil through the roof on the merest excuse....

Into a sceptic tank of course.
I am well aware of the benefits of bio-gas but I am still puzzled how you can make use of the "fruits of cow's bottoms"

My house burns methane, it comes from the north sea. Not a cow in sight.

56 years after it was decided it was needed, the Bedford Bypass is nearing completion. The last single carriageway length of it.We have the most photogenic mayor though, always being photographed doing nothing

Either way Gents you're on a looser. THE arabs will in future charge you more for your fuel or your government will increase the tax on it. I'm not A FAN of the new thinking you understand, I'm no greeny, just a realist.

You can either ignore it and pay the price or pay £25,000 this year for a biscuit tin on wheels using part batteries............or use a different fuel. One that doesn't need oil products or the north sea.

The choice is yours.....this is the year of change.

Apparently I hear you can produce energy form actually nothing at all. It's been kept secret for a number of years. There's no money in getting free energy is there?
