Hi

I am mulling over the idea of taking my HGV license (both classes) as i dont see a great future for my current job.

My plan is to pass and because of the rota system that i work which allows me upto 4 days off work each week (I work 3 12 hr night shifts) is to do agency work inbetween shifts at 1st.

I only see a span of 2-3 yrs left in my current role then reduncies could well be availible, I currently have 17yrs service so should have a good package.

Does anyone know if agency work is readilly availible for someone in my situation - I would be availble for driving jobs every Mon, Tues, Wed, and it would be a 2nd job for me.

Is there any agency workers outthere who could help with any advice.

cheers

jase.
