However, no-one has disputed that it has been getting warmer, until a decade ago anyway. So what is so special about this year?
Marine technology is also improving and circulation patterns could also be changing, so even GW may not be the reason, let alone AGW.
Also, it was already navigated over a century ago, so was it warmer back then too?

My original point stands: Using this as an proof of AGW is highly specious (not specifically aimed at you DCB...)
