I think Top Gear is brilliant entertainment and I look forward to its return. JC is a showman, nothing less, and very good at it to boot. I think it is obvious to most viewers that a "Don't Try This at Home" tag applies to most of what they do.
The train versus Ferrari trip to Switzerland was manifestly contrived. James and the Hamster apparently had to wait an hour for their train connection in Switzerland - nonsense, anyone who knows Switzerland knows that the trains run on time and cross-platform connections occur everywhere.
By the way, I do support the aims of Transport 2000 as well. But they should learn to "get a life" (I mean a sense of perspective).
