Oscar/ed -

Cyclists - love em - was one my self for years, had cars, then made redundant a few years ago and became one again. Now got job and car, but don't forget.
You might think that i rant against cyclists, i dont. I hate the stupid tricks that some "clever" cyclists try to play. These are akin to those that Mr "i havent got time to waste sitting in a queue" motorist tries.Similar to those tried by the tailgater - so you get the picture.I don't get mad, but their tricks remind me of the chap with the razor blade slicing his wrist. What a waste.
The cyclist ( won't comment on the plastic hat) -riding a full sized bike( he/she even looks around to see what is hapening), looking/acting like a serious road user - i will treat like one - i'll even be the sod in a car, making sure that he/she gets treated right - they try to turn right accross me - i'll stop ,block my side of the road and let them go.I call it courtesy. I even do it for cars, especially if a queue is building up.
The one that bothers me is the teenager with his kid brothers bike - on road/on pavement/ on road etc. No road sense - no all round view -a BMW driver in training( if he lives long enough).
So please stop castigating me - if one of my kids behaved like these - i'd throw the bike in the nearest skip.
Cyclists - wish i was brave enough to go out in this town and join them , but i'll look after them if i can - a car is metal -a cyclist aint.
If i aint spelled it out for you - i'm a burnt out cyclist on 4 wheels.
Rant over

I admit i did say "No road sense - no all round view -a BMW driver in training( if he lives long enough).".

But we now have some beauties( Beauts for our cousins from the southern hemispeheres) ---

ant the coup de gras -

BMW LAUNCHES BELLENDTRONIC

allows a range of functions including full disablement of the indicators, perilously late activation of the brakes and an adapted radar cruise control that allows the driver to sit 4mm from your back bumper in the outside lane of the M6.
Other German makers are expected to follow BMW's lead, including Audi who is poised to make certain versions of the A4 available with a rival system dubbed 'Pushytwat Plus'.

And for our friends who have them as a company car ,with white flashes , an extra to persuade Sergeants that they are out on the road -

Amongst other neat touches, Bellendtronic can also apply light brake pressure at all times, covering the wheels in dust, something that will be a particular benefit if your fleet manager wouldn't let you specify alloy wheels
