It's January, and soon we will all know the truth about the efforts of our local Scamera Partnerships.
I have pre-empted ours with a letter to our local paper - and I thought some source material might be helpful to anyone else tackling their local media.

The falls in seriously Injured are usually used to offset level or higher fatals, and this link will help rebut that argument.

You should copy any letters to the media to your MP, giving THEM a chance to jump on the band wagon, and point out that Partnership employees get paid from the proceeds of their actions, and serve up statistics to suit their ends.
Most of all, you must impress upon the public that NEVER does a camera ever STOP any of these thousands of "criminal" speeders; instead they simply get a summons in the post a few days later - which makes any claims of a danger averted laughable!
And should you stand and warn drivers approaching a speed camera, you can be fined and banned from driving for making them slow down - the very result allegedly desired by our "safety camera" partnerships! They fine you for denying them the chance to make money!

Watch those local sites, and GO FOR IT!
