After a spot of domestic bother between parents, my dad's girlfriend car was scratched by the car keys.

I was wondering if anyone knows how much to expect a garage to quote for repair. We do not know if it is a surface scratch or deeper, so figues should help.

Thankyou very much for any information!

I have had a number of small scratches and dings removed from cars the most exspensive was £120 when someone let his door blow into the side of my car making two three inch scratched dents to the rear wing the car was metalic and they did a invisible repair

I scratched the back of my car when reversing once, it cost £240 to get it fixed. I managed to put a dent into the bodywork as well (which they fixed as part of the price)

In my experience it would be best to get a quote from a garage or two and also to get one from a specialist paint repair company (Chipsaway?) then take the most suitable offer.

I hope this helps.

Cheers for the advice

Hopefully it won't come to more than £250 then

Will suggest trying more than one place
