Dear All

This is not a message about the Safespeed campaign. It is about Paul who has single-handedly brought the campaign to the forefront. We, and to be fair all motorists, owe him a lot. As you will all know he is in hospital having survived a heart attack. I would not like to speculate on why he has had this illness except to say that his hard work for Safespeed (and for us all) will not have helped his health.

I know what it is like to be in hospital with living costs accumulating and not having any income to defray them. It is hardly the least stressful of situations to be in.

What can we do to help Paul and Claire as the friends they truly are? He needs money but he will never ask you for it himself. BUT I WILL.

Any and all donations which can be sent via the donations page will be welcomed by Paul and will help him in very real terms. I am not asking any of you to leave yourselves short (20 people sending £5 each is equivalent to one sending £100) but how about fining yourself for the speeding you did this morning? (don't have to give yourself points :) )

Paypal donate: https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business= ... y_code=GBP

Are we going to show Paul and Claire how much we care? I hope the answer is a resounding "Yes".

Regards

Malc

True.

When I joined here I was on the breadline myself (more or less on the verge of insolvency/bankruptcy) but things have got a lot better since then, so I can't put it off any more.

Consider it done  For you this time Paul, not SS :nono:

I hope you give yourself some well deserved long overdue down-time to think about the people who love and care for you and what you mean to them, including us rabble.

Best wishes Paul and of course to you also Claire. I'm sure he's getting lots of TLC

From Tone. Cheers :drink:
