Another Quango -quelle surprise - surprised that we haven't seen the creation of a minister of Quangos (whose sole purpose in life is to create more Quangos)- but then perhaps this is the govt's way of getting us ready for direct rule from Brussels -where none of the decision makers are elected (somat like some third world African nation -but no -they at least get one candidate )

The new initiative to get the disabled back into work will involve teams of public servants to assess their abilities, and decide what work they are capable of doing.
So, given that 2 million are on some sort of incapacity or disability benefit (mostly sick pay of 70 quid a week), how many teams are there going to be to lower the amount on benefit ?
There are going to either be a lot of teams, or the job is going to have to be done fast. Not much chance of them being correct then. But a lot of teams. Many of which will be newly enlisted and a whole load of extra jobs for doctors. And, how much are the salaries going to be versus the benefits they will "save" ?
