(If I got one I would likly keep the outside absolutly original and blueprint the engine within an inch of its life (about 70 bhp/l for normally asperated) Past experiance sugests that there is a great deal of enjoyment to be had from leaving people with "new" cars for dust with vehicles that were manufactured before they were born! :D :D :D (Damn I miss my old XJ12C) )

Roller bearing crank. Could rev to 10,000rpm!!

However, the Atom does use a Civic Type R engine with a supercharger.
