In the good old days, when people knew how to travel properly, One used to have a "Ships sweap"! The idea was that you had a compitician whereby the passangers would place bets on how far the ship would travel over the next 24 hours.
Well, heres mine.

1994 Landcruiser 80 4.2TD (12 Valve, no bothersome electronics!) GVW somewhere around 2 1/4 tons (and a bit! Was carrieing a replacement engine in the back for one of my other vehicles. Looked like a box of kleenex in a shopping trolly!

Distance covererd, just under 400 miles round trip.
Now, bearing in mind that this is
the absolute classic baby eating 4X4 gas guzzler!
Anybody care to guess what the round trip fuel consumption was for this (admittadly mostly motorway/trunk road with no hold ups) journey??
