Bugger. I've arranged to see an old friend for lunch on the 26th.

I only scanned this quickly, but it looks like they may be a Safespeed supporter

Quote:
14. "All" Cameras used for "Spying" and "Monitoring" of "Gods" people "Will" be removed.

and PH supporter

Quote:
2. "All" fuel for Cars and Energy "Will" be free. (this "Will" be provided)

Unfortunately they also say -

Quote:
You "Will" receive a warning, should you attempt to carry out any of these activities. After this warning you "Will" receive punishment."

4. "All" Gay and Lesbian activities.

6. "All" sexual activities, other than with the "Female" human species "Will" cease.

Which is rather contradictory as according to No.6 women are not allowed to have sex with men and yet obeying 6. contravenes No.4, so on the whole the birth of a motoring paradise appears unlikely.

P.S. Who is Reckonong?

I think I missed off a smilie there ;)

If I had to summarise my life's experience of all religions, this wouldn't be far off...

I remember being chucked out of "bible class" at school. I was about 10. Nothing new there. I spent almost all that year outside the Principal's office for "being a sassy villainess" I spent the next 5 years likewise in what my husband call a "door monitor role"

But I recall the lesson. Teacher tell us again that God ist immortal. I put up my hand und ask .. how He know this? :? Teacher gave me that look und I thought it was because I had a mouthful of chewing gum at the time .. so I remove the gum und ping into bin behind me .. (as I was always the "rowdy at the back of the class ..
) und go .. "Verzeihung.. but how can He be sure He ist immortal when he already in Heaven as you tell us that where we go when we ARE dead! How do you know He ist immortal? You seen Him?" I end up having to write an essay of at least 5,000 word to prove the point... YOU could say that how I learn to make a thousand word reply :hehe: out of an average forum post :rotfl: I think the teacher gave up first

SAFER!

I had a well-dressed couple call at the door last weekend who turned out to be Jehovah's Witnesses.

I said "I am a committed athiest with enough knowledge of Christian theology to haver a good argument about it, which I enjoy, do you want to continue?" They smiled and left.

Mind you, a housemate at uni (a bit like me but more verbose) invited two in to argue about the existence of God. They kept it up for about two hours, then legged it when he went to the loo!

The sad thing is that the young people, JWs or Mormons, who come visiting always look to be really nice, decent, polite and well turned out. Just the way you would like all youngsters to be. Pity that they have to have their reasoning powers removed to achieve that sate :)

And I am still waiting for an explanation from Dixie

I've got two young (ish) women in my team who are properly religious (one infected the other I suspect).

Neither are bright enough to be able to argue about it though, which is a shame, but I suppose unsurprising.
