Did Paul expect Safe Speed to become as big as it is? Or was it more about just having the right idea at the right time? Many of the best ideas were not really planned in detail. Take something like twitter, which is very successful, but doing a different kind of job than that which motivated it.

What are the future plans for Safe Speed? It would appear with the support you have, you might be able to use it in new ways, though clearly care needs to be taken, with that sort of thing.

As I have said on the radio and as I will repeat here.
We heard that cameras were being introduced 'down south' and wondered if they were going to bring about the claims made.
A bit later on we heard about a lady that had through totting up lost her job, then she lost her home, the strees though all of this saw her become divorced and she also 'lost' her children.
This seemed rather disproportionate to her apparent crime.
Paul decided to start to look into it ...
The more that he found the more troubling it became. In the end he gave up his very successful computer business and dedicated all his time to Safe Speed. By now he had a rapidly growing website, great interest from the Press and the Government (now former Government) being asked 'difficult' questions in the Commons.
The facts spoke for themselves there is no disputing that.

What 'new ways' are you thinking about ?

Paul's idea of basically using a logical (or scientific) approach to speed cameras, can clearly be applied to other areas, and would be seen by many to be a natural progression of what you have been doing.

I think Paul's way of doing things should be expanded, but in directions that ring true with your current members. I have my own ideas, but do not want to give them now, as I am just a new member, though have followed your work for some time. However, I am willing to help promote ideas of others here, if they agree with my own.

If I stated too much of what I think you could do, it would be likely to be taken badly "Who does he think he is ...".

So, I ask the current members, do you think Paul's approach should be formally generalized in some way? Or, should we restrict ourselves to only what Paul himself did? I always think the best way forward is to work in the spirit of the man (or woman) who started it, but to dare to imagine what they might be telling us now.
