HI, Speed Guy & .Not preaching - each to his own & all that . All these gadgets are a good help to a new driver . Could I perhaps suggest one other -do a search on here for COAST, and APPly principles. A driver driving to this is the best ,safest APP any car needs .Using the principles - you'll spot all manner of hazards , including the lesser spotted( hopefully soon to be extinct) money grabbing ,non safety camera .It'll waken you to the dangers of kids playing on the pavement ( something a camera won't see) ,and many many other dangers.The idea is to get your driver brain to look out for potential hazards and to react before the kid steps out .

As said - the best APP to use on here is Eyeball ( mark 1) - and as a new driver ( don't forget we all were once , and I for one will never let others forget it ) ,coupled with educating brain to recognise problems .

(Botach, not sure he said he was a learner driver ?) But I agree, driving with good observation and awareness, is always best, but cameras can of course be missed when concentrating on real world developing hazards.
