Succinct and to the point.

The wife and I were discussing the very same over breakfast this morning!

A local hotel group has re-branded it's hotels and removed the word HOTEL from their titles.
Apparently this is now causing problems with the SEO process, as well as steering business to agents on commission instead of directly to the group's booking facilities!

I didn't know, but keywords must reflect the core business - and if it isn't in the title somewhere, they get demoted.

The keywords from the title are very important to Google. If you have a corect title the work indone by 20%

It is worth 26% with the correct spelling and grammar.

When creating a website you need to state clearly and obviously what the business is all about, and especially within the page's code under the header tags ... that tells the search engine what the site is all about.
Someone I knew with a hotel website up here even added 'Highland cows' as by the hotel there were some and people come to the Highlands to see them ... so people looking to come may wish to stay in a hotel ! Hence the link.
