I didn't check the destination board on this bus ,but it made me wonder if it was the same bus .
Both sides of bus read "Tamworth to Birmingham -DIRECT" . :? Only thing out of ordinary was that bus was sitting in Nuneaton bus station .(For those living more remote places it's like going from London to leicester via Bristol).
Made me chuckle .

Yep, sounds about right Botach. English public transport at its best. Go a gazillion miles out of your way, arrive hours later than you could by using a rickshaw and pay over the odds for the 'privilege'.

I often wonder what visitors from Europe and America think when over here. I suspect, (because they don’t know otherwise and they’re not living or have to work here), ‘how quaint’.

Quaint is a euphemism, oft use by us as some kind of defence, for complete and utter s :censored: t!

or non-nonsensical silliness!

Did you ask about the reason - as I take it that you were on this bus ? :)
(Not a good advert for them hey !)
