To save the mods some time editing some of my posts to shorten the url ,can someone post /pm the shortcut .haven't got it on this laptop .

If you have a long url, the forum software will automatically shorten it like this:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... olice.html

Otherwise, you can format it like this:


Which will appear like this:

Thanks Peter -that's the one -didn't know you'd put a fix in for long url -was trying not to cause you any probs shortning any long ones I post .The short cut is on my other PC -somewhere
